Mozilla has released the latest version Thunderbird 3 Beta 3 of it is desktop email application.The Thunderbird 3 Beta 3 is based on the Gecko 1.9.1.1 platform which including some major architecture changes to provide improved performance, stability, web capability, code simplification and sustainability.Thunderbird gives you IMAP/POP support, a built-in RSS reader, support for HTML mail, powerful quick search, saved search folders, advanced message filtering, message grouping, labels, return receipts, smart address book LDAP address completion, import tools, and the ability to manage multiple e-mail and newsgroup accounts.

Thunderbird 3 Beta 3 new features:-

  • New Activity Manager.
  • Selecting multiple messages will give the users a summary view of the emails that have selected.
  • An Archive feature similar to the one in GMail.
  • Better recognition and integration of Gmail’s special folders such as Sent and Trash including non-English versions of Gmail. Thunderbird also uses All Mail as the Archives folder.
