Apple Announced Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

What a big day is today. The Apple Mac event brings many new things to our life. In the Mac event Apple announced iLife 11 for Mac, two new MacBook Air and now Apple announced Max OS X Lion.

The iLife 11 for Mac is the main highlight of this event where as the latest Lion version will be the 8th major release in the series and it arrives in the summer of 2011. There are few new features added to Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

In Mac OS X Lion include the Mac App Store that brings to App Store of the iPhone and iPad to the Mac. The users can easily download apps that run in full screen from the store with just one click. Another feature of Mac OS X Lion is Mission Control. Mission Control is a service that lets you have a comprehensive view of everything you have running on your Mac.

The service works with Expose, Spaces, Dashboard and full screen apps. It allows you to see everything grouped together in the appropriate places. Gestures are used on the Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad to activate the features such as two finger swipe downs that bring up a list of apps or slides to the side to switch to another desktop.
