The users can join and sign-up Microsoft Office Starter 2010 Beta Program without invite. Office Starter 2010 will replace Microsoft Works. Office Starter 2010 is a new version of Office 2010 which can reduced functionality, advertising-supported.

Office Starter 2010 added Office Word Starter 2010 and Office Excel Starter 2010.  Although Office Starter 2010 having functions that can creating, viewing and editing documents but offering user interface such as Ribbon menu. The end-users can easily upgrade Office Starter 2010 to a fully comprehensive version of the Office suite.
