Vodafone Application Store launched by Vodafone Essar

Vodafone is one of the best network service. Vodafone Essar India has announced it’s newly launched mobile application store that already crossed 10000 downloads till today. According to Vodafone, the application store service (app service) has been operational since 15th Feb 2010.On dated 5th March 2010, the company has announced that the app store was initially launched without any promotion or media release on 15th February 2010. After receiving relatively good number of downloads, Vodafone has decided to reveal the world about the existence of its app store service in India.

Vodafone application store is available to its existing customers through data enabled handsets. Customers can send a message with the keyword “APP” to 111 (toll free) and can also access the store through the portal service (i.e:Vodafone live) by clicking a link on its home page. Only 15% applications are available free of charge where as most of the applications are in a price range between Rs.5/- to Rs.30/- only.


Therefore vodafone user can access the app store simply typing a text message APP and sending it 111 (toll free Vodafone no).This application store has more than 800 applications in various categories named as: Entertainment, Utility, Finance, Social Networking, Games, etc. Vodafone Application Store consists of both Indian and international apps as well. So keep enjoy with Vodafone.
